Revenue Officer – General Income, Sundry Debt
Rate Umbrella – About £23.00 an hour
Contract Initial 3 months
Hours per week 35
- Working knowledge of billing for services on a system, we use Advanced E5
- Debt collection experience and skills
- Experience of working on Adult social care debt reports
- Analyse accounts by checking notes, etc and decide on next action to take within our procedures
- responding to enquiries and complaints
- maintaining a spreadsheet with required actions and amounts
- setting up arrangements
- Use their initiative to arrive at a decision on a case
- Excellent admin skills
- Deal with enquiries and complaints
- Excellent letter writing skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to resolve queries individually and as part of a team
- Ability to use IT (Teams, outlook, Document Imaging System) effectively to get on with the job
- Ability to use excel and word to a high standard, etc.
- Be reliable, punctual, and accountable for their actions
- Be polite, helpful, and courteous to customers
- Take ownership of a query and see it through to the end providing a good result for the customer and team
- Signpost customers as necessary
- Send out copy invoices as required
- Excellent Letter writing skills – type up letters as required to send out to customers
- Note the different systems with updated information such as phone numbers, email addresses, etc taken at point of call
- Follow the processes set out for the team
- Maintain confidentiality in lines with Data protection
