Revenues Contract Manager needed in the Greater London area.
To be a subject matter expert within the discipline of Business Rates and Council Tax within a Local Government environment. To have a thorough understanding of the service and relevant working practices and assist and work closely with the Head of Revenues and Benefits to deliver exceptional contract management.
To make significant contributions to strategic and operational management of the council’s Revenue service and contractors, optimising collection and driving continuous improvement.
To be responsible for the performance management of the outsourced Revenues and Benefits provision. Providing effective contract management to ensure value for money and adherence to council policy and procurement procedures.
To develop and implement performance reviews, customer satisfaction surveys, value for money reviews and benchmarking and work across the council to support service improvement.
Strategically manage key relationships with stakeholders e.g. Capita, BIDs, Economic Inclusion team, CAML and Corporate Finance to ensure that cross departmental and partnership working is developed to achieve value for money.
To manage the Revenues and Contract Officers ensuring delivery of high quality, effective services and meeting customer’s needs and aspirations in accordance with the council’s policies and objectives.
The role will be required to shape and implement policy, modern contract and relationship management through taking the lead on a range of projects across the service.
