Looking for a Housing Benefits Assessment Officer
- Need to be fully proficient in the use of Academy
- Start date As soon as possible
- Need to have at least 2 years prior experience in similar role
- Contract 3 Monthly rolling (however this is expected to go on long term)
- Full remote working, so will need a strong internet connection
Additional requirements;
- Proven experience of processing all types of Housing Benefit/Council Tax Reduction claims.
- Up to date knowledge of Housing Benefit legislation and the ability to apply this accurately on a case by case basis
- A proactive and customer-focused approach to resolving queries
- Work will be in all areas including
- New claims and changes in circumstances
- Assess student claims, persons from abroad, and self-employed claims
- Award Discretionary Housing Payments (DHPs)
